I have coached many gymnasts to National competitions, and full Scholarships for college. I love the sport of gymnastics because it can enhance so many different facets in a young child’s development. It will help with any other sport they may do, it teaches time management, and goal setting, to just name a few.

To relax and regroup, I ride bikes, kayak and paddle board. I love the outdoors and spending time with my 4 legged friend – Kona!

I have been a part of Somerton Gymnastics since I was 6 years old.  After graduating as a gymnast here, it was an obvious transition to become a coach.  After completing four years of college, I was ready to make this my career.  My goal is to coach with passion whether I am working with pre-school age or our competitive team.  I can only hope that the lessons I learned in and out of the gym through the sport can be passed on to my athletes.

to directions, body awareness and so much more! I truly love this sport!

I have two little girls myself and it’s wonderful to see them enjoy this sport as

much as I do. When I’m not in the gym, I am a fulltime hair stylist. I am also, a

fulltime Mom to my two beautiful girls! I love being outside any moment I get.

My goal is to get to every National Park in the USA. If I’m not outside, I love

working out. My favorite quote:

“Life is too short to do anything that is not challenging!”

a difference in their all-around growth and development.

Gymnastics has been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl and I find joy in bringing out the best in every child who shows interest in the sport.  The life-long lessons that I learned throughout my 12 years of competitive gymnastics have helped to shape who I am today.  My family including my mom, dad and little sister Alexa love to travel and we have a Golden Retriever puppy that we love with all our hearts.  I find joy in watching children accomplish their goals both in school and at Somerton Gymnastics and I truly believe in the mission here of teaching the “total” child.

Personal: I practiced gymnastics from the age of 5 to 12. I played soccer for one year, basketball for two years, second year being varsity, and varsity lacrosse for 2 years. I attended somerton when I was 5 and fell in love, years later I am back here to help kids just like me learn gymnastics! My family life is supportive and active, much like the environment here at the gym. Outside of somerton I tutor young kids from grades 6-10 in math, english and social studies and I take part in community service/charity fundraisers. I am most interested in spending my time helping girls and boys learn and grow with gymnastics.

gymnast parent enjoying classes with my daughter. She moved to the competitive team and

progressed throughout her training to receive a college scholarship. My family traveled to

I returned to class gymnastics with my two grandchildren of my oldest daughter and enjoyed the sport all over again. My interaction with the children stopping in the office is the best part of my job! I love reading, going the beach, restaurants and extended family celebrations.
